A completed Group Trips Agreement with specified deposit (see below) is required to confirm any booking.

Deposit requirements: $50 for groups of 15-99; $100 for groups of 100 or more. Deposits are non-refundable.

An additional $70 deposit is required when booking a 30-minute lesson

15 or more skaters are needed to earn the group rate.

Once a contract is signed, payment must be rendered for 15 guests, even if fewer guests attend.

Payment in full is required on the day of any given trip. LeFrak Center at Lakeside accepts cash, organization check, credit or debit card. We do not accept $100 bills.

Booking deadline: Groups 15-49, no less than 72 hours prior to event; Groups 50-100, no less than one week prior to event; Groups 100+, no less than two weeks prior to event.

For 15 to 99 skaters, cancellation/change permitted up to 48 hours prior to booking or deposit is forfeited. For 100 + or more skaters, cancellation/change permitted up to 10 days prior to booking or deposit is forfeited.

School or organization groups must have at least one chaperone for every 50 attendees.

LeFrak Center at Lakeside does not provide food service. Groups or parties can reach out to Duck Island Cafe & Bar (parties@duckislandbk.com) for any food service needs.

Group rate includes admission and rental skates for one hour and 20 minutes of on-ice skating time during any rink scheduled Public Sessions, except as otherwise agreed upon.

All bookings will take place during a Public Session.

Group lessons are available on request and must be prepaid. Scheduled lesson time cannot be extended due to lateness of attendees.

Balance is due in one payment, using a credit or debit card, organization check or cash (no $100 bills) upon trip day attendance reconciliation.

Correctly completed electronic waiver must be on file for every skater, regardless of age (including teachers, parents or chaperones).

No one allowed on the ice without a correctly-completed waiver.

Proper attire required. (Socks needed for skate rental. Helmets recommended).

Below is a link to our rink waiver which needs to be completed and submitted prior to your event date. We need a waiver on file for every skater as we don’t permit anyone on the ice without a signed waiver.

Waivers must be completed no later than 24 hours prior to your trip or event. We’ll collect the waivers, prepare a spreadsheet and use that to check everyone in.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents or legal guardians must be aged 18 or older and can only complete and submit a waiver for their own children. It is not permitted to complete and submit a waiver for a friend, colleague, co-worker or anyone who is not an immediate family member. All adults must complete their own waiver.

In addition, if we don’t get waivers, the group discount no longer applies, the deposit will be forfeited, and you’ll pay the walk-in rate for admission and rental skates for all members of your group.
